Aspen-AASCU Transfer Student Success & Equity Intensive Cohort
Selected to be a part of the March 2022 - February 2023 Aspen-AASCU Transfer Student Success and Equity Intensive (TSSEI) cohort--a one-year initiative designed to advance practices and policies associated with improved, more equitable transfer student success.
AAC&U Equitable and Inclusive Curriculum-to-Career Models Project
UW Tacoma is one of 12 institutions selected to participate in the American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) Equitable and Inclusive Curriculum-to-Career Models project.
Individual Recognition of Staff
- Mentha-Hynes Wilson, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, received the Excellence in Housing Innovation Award to support Housing Insecurity from the Education Advisory Board (EAB) in Spring 2022
- Amanda Figueroa, Senior Director of Student Transitions & Success, received the University of Washington Tacoma Community Engagement Award for Equity in Education in 2021

- Dr. Bernard Anderson, Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Life, was selected as a faculty member for the 2020 NASPA Dungy Leadership Institute
