Leads and supports all offices within Student Life, along with direct management of student conduct, the CARE Team, and the childcare assistance program.

Center for Student Involvement
Unit Lead: Conor Leary, Director of Student Involvement and Leadership
Provides involvement opportunities and events on campus, including the Associated Students of UW Tacoma (ASUWT), service and leadership, student clubs and organizations, Student Activities Board, Tahoma West literary and creative arts magazine, The Ledger student newspaper.
Psychological & Wellness Services
Interim Unit Lead: Dr. Bernard Anderson, Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Life
Provides free counseling and other psychological services to currently enrolled UW Tacoma students, including individual, couple, and group counseling, educational workshops and classroom presentations, support groups, consultation, and referrals.
Disability Resources for Students
Unit Lead: Victor Flores, Associate Director of Disability Resources for Students
Ensures access and inclusion for all students with disabilities on the UW Tacoma campus.
Housing & Residence Life
Unit Lead: Ryan Davidson, Resident Director of Residence Life
Offers students the opportunity to convenience to live on-campus in a safe and community-based living environment.
Student Advocacy & Support
Unit Lead: Melissa Ford, Assistant Director of Student Conduct and Advocacy
Assists students to set goals and find on campus and community supports to meet life challenges that create barriers to achieving their educational goals.
Student Conduct & Academic Integrity
Unit Lead: Surtida Shelton, Director of Student Conduct and Advocacy
Provides leadership of and maintains the Student Code of Conduct and an educational resolution process for violations.
Student Health
Student Health is your one-stop-shop for health and well-being resources including health information and education opportunities, instructions for completing the UW Tri-Campus Immunization Requirement, and resources like the sexual violence and Title-IX based confidential advocate, Student Health Services with TimelyCare, safer sex supplies, and more.
University YMCA Student Center
In partnership with YMCA of Pierce & Kitsap Counties, provides recreational and fitness services and equipment to the UW Tacoma and local community. Also serves as a student center with lounge space, a game room, event and meeting spaces, and the Center for Student Involvement.
