UW Tacoma cares about the health and well-being of our campus community. We understand the impact that our dimensions of well-being can have on academic performance and success and encourage you to access the services and resources that you need to facilitate your success in the classroom and in your daily life. Student Health is a one-stop-shop that provides information about the services and resources available to students at no cost, such as Student Health Services, Psychological and Wellness Services, confidential advocacy, health education, and information about required immunizations.

Confidential Sexual Violence Advocacy
Advocacy is a safe and confidential starting point for any students affected by sexual assault, rape, relationship violence, domestic violence, stalking, sexual harassment, and other related experiences. Meeting with an advocate will not automatically lead to any kind of investigation by the university or police.
TimelyCare
UW Tacoma students have 24 / 7 / 365 access to free virtual health care services with TimelyCare, a virtual health and well-being platform designed specifically for college students. As part of UW Tacoma’s partnership with TimelyCare, students have free access at any time of day or night to a variety of services.
UW Tri-Campus Immunization Requirement
All first-time students, regardless of where they live, must meet the UW Tri-Campus Immunity Verification Requirement by the first day of their first UW quarter. Learn more about this requirement and how to access immunizations if you need them.

Learning about topics such as alcohol and drug use and interpersonal violence prevention is an important part of your time in college. We've compiled information for you to review on your own - or you can request for us to come and do a workshop for you or your student organization.

Psychological & Wellness Services
PAWS provides intentional, problem-focused mental health counseling, aimed at building better skills and exploring alternative ways of coping. All services are free and confidential.
