Any member of the campus community can request Services & Activities Fee (SAF) funding per the UW Tacoma SAF Committee (SAFC) Bylaws.

The SAFC reviews funding three times each year, in the Autumn and Spring for Special Allocations and annually during Autumn and Winter quarters for Annual Allocations. Dates for the 2024-2025 request processes are below. If additional time is needed, proposers can contact the SAFC at safcuwt@uw.edu.

  • The Autumn Special Allocation Proposal Window is now closed.
  • The Annual Allocation Proposal Window is now closed. Annual allocation proposals will begin Friday, December 6, 2024.  Proposals will be due Friday, February 7, 2025 at Noon. 
  • The Spring Special Allocation Proposal Window is now closed. Spring special allocation proposals will be accepted Friday, March 14, 2025 through Friday, April 18, 2025 at Noon.
