In her roles as a Health Promotion Specialist and Confidential Campus Advocate, Madie works tirelessly to remove barriers for students and to enable them to reach their educational and professional goals. She values being student-centered and strives to be inclusive when working with students. Because of her outreach and educative efforts on campus, Madie has had more students seek out her services as a confidential advocate in the 8 months since she was hired than in the three previous years. As an example of her hard work, vision, educational efforts, and collaborative work with campus and community partners, Madie held the first UWT Denim Day last Spring.
