Fellowships are competitive, merit-based scholarships that provide financial support for undergraduate or graduate study, research, social justice or public service work, international travel, and graduate school. They can range from short, quarter-long opportunities to multiple years of funding. Applying for a fellowship takes time, effort, and dedication, and offers a great opportunity for personal reflection. Watch the video tutorial on the right to learn more.

Undergraduate Scholarships
Boren Scholarship | For study abroad in Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East. |
Gilman Scholarship | Merit-based scholarship for Pell grant recipients for studying or interning abroad. |
Goldwater Scholarship | For outstanding STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) undergraduates interested in research careers. |
Tillman Scholarship | Supports outstanding active-duty service members, veterans and military spouses. |
Truman Scholarship | For college juniors with exceptional leadership potential who are committed to careers in public service. |
Udall Scholarship | For students committed to careers related to the environment, tribal public policy, or Native American health care. |

Beinecke Scholarship | For college juniors who plan to pursue graduate study in the arts, humanities and social sciences. |
DAAD Graduate Study Scholarship | For graduate study or research at a German university. |
Fulbright U.S. Student Program | Funding for one academic year of self-designed study, research, creative projects, or teaching English in one of over 140 countries around the world. |
Gates Cambridge Scholarship | Highly prestigious and competitive award for outstanding students to pursue a graduate degree at Cambridge University. |
Knight-Hennessy Scholars | Highly selective fellowship for graduate study at Stanford University for students from around the world. |
Luce Scholars Program | Stipend, language training, and professional placement in Asia. |
Marshall Scholarship | Highly prestigious and competitive award for one or two years of graduate study in the UK. |
Mitchell Scholarship | Prestigious and competitive scholarship for one year of graduate study in Ireland. |
Rhodes Scholarship | Highly selective and prestigious fellowship for graduate study at Oxford University. |
Schwarzman Scholars Program | For a one-year Master’s Degree at Tsinghua University in Beijing. |
