DUBNET is UW Tacoma's online home for registered student organizations (RSOs). It is a student engagement platform that helps to keep RSO officers, members, and the general UW Tacoma community connected. Joining an RSO on DUBNET is one of the biggest steps that any student can take to get involved on campus.
DUBNET is a tool that students can use to improve their connection to involvement opportunities, such as student organizations, events, volunteer hours, and more! There are a great number of features that undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, staff, prospective students, and guests to campus will be able to use and DUBNET can be accessed through a web browser as well as an app. DUBNET will be used for:
- Hosting the entire list of active Registered Student Organizations so students can join their membership directly in the system
- Communication between organization members, organizations, services, and students using email messaging and push notifications
- Creating clubs and organizations to be part of the Registered Student Organization community at UW Tacoma
- Hosting a calendar of events, built from the organizations that add them to the DUBNET system
- Collecting attendance data from events and awarding students with Dawg Bones for engaging in campus activities
- Distributing and collecting forms and surveys, such as the Advertising Request Form, that help them better access available resources and services
- Logging and collecting service hours
- Promoting important campus information through a customized landing page that students visit when they log into the system
- Connecting users directly with one another through forums and direct messaging
