There are enhanced reporting requirements for students approved for a 24-month STEM OPT extension.
STEM OPT recipients must make a "validation report" to your International Student Advisor every six months starting from the date the 24month extension begins and ending when the student's F-1 status ends, the student changes educational levels at the same school, the student transfers to another school, or the 24-month OPT extension ends, whichever is first. ISSS is not going to remind you to report.
If your address and employment information did not change at all since the last time you updated ISSS, please fill out this form to simply report your continuous participation in STEM OPT.
If your contact information has changed, please update it by accessing SEVP Portal.
If your employment information has changed, please submit New Employment Reporting during STEM OPT.
