Students of Color
Career Development & Education values the multitude of perspectives and stories that students of color bring to our campus. Your experiences add great value to our university and community and we want to help you think about and articulate how your unique perspective can benefit any academic department, organization, company, or employer. Your prior experiences have given you skills and values that any hiring manager or committee would find attractive. Regardless of your field of interest or what types of past experience you have, our coaches and workshops can help you write and talk about your experiences in a way that will broaden your opportunities. We also want to talk to you about how you can find meaningful opportunities that align with your values and interests while you are a student at UW Tacoma. Our coaches can point you in the right direction when it comes to research, internships, student jobs, volunteer opportunities, and more!
