Accounting for our Husky 100

Recognizing the incredible work and achievements of students from all three campuses, we are ecstatic to showcase two leaders coming from the Milgard School of Business. Chastity Bryant and Evan Campbell build up their community, making waves in and out of the classroom.

The Milgard School of Business is extremely proud of the work these students put in to make an impact and lead in this community. To have 2 out of the 8 Husky 100 recognized from UW Tacoma is a testament to the passion, care, and grit that are inherent values of our institution and culture.

Each year, the Husky 100 recognizes 100 undergraduate and graduate students from the UW Bothell, Seattle, and Tacoma campuses in all areas of study who are making the most of their time at the University of Washington. These are students who have founded start-ups, created artwork, served as mentors, conducted research, and advocated for social justice. They work on our campuses and in our communities. They are leaders and innovators.



With each recognized individual, they contribute a unique Husky Experience that connects what happens inside and outside of the classroom in order to make a difference on our campuses.

Chastity Bryant proudly takes stride in her education, currently completing her Masters of Science in Accounting (MSACC).

In her biography, she states:

"As a Tacoma native, first-generation college student, mother of three, full time student, and employee the University of Washington-Tacoma has served as a catalyst, weaving together a heightened level of self-confidence, resources and connections within my personal and professional life. My education has illuminated the interconnectedness of how I can use my understanding of accounting principles to be a vessel for the community in which I was raised. Striving to make an equitable change by utilizing my understanding of a “power with” leadership mentality to be a pillar and guiding light just as UWT has been for me."

Evan Campbell forges his path with a B.A. in Business Administration: Accounting and his Master of Science in Accounting with a Minor in Business Data Analytics.

In his biography, he states:

"I am a committed and inclusive leader with a passion for positively impacting my community. Through my experiences at the University of Washington Tacoma, I have developed a strong desire to help others and promote equity and justice. I promote these values in the Accounting Student Association and my work as a tutor, and I am ready to take on the next steps in my journey and create a better future for myself and those around me."
