Long Tran joined Global Honors in Autumn 2017 and graduated in Spring 2019.

It made me dream bigger and elevate myself to a place where I’m making an impact in my own communities, as well as in academia and my professional life." 

Long received the Husky 100 Award. He is a filmmaker and actor, whose social justice-themed films have screened in Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, and the United Kingdom.

Long went on to complete his graduate degree in Cinema and Media Studies at the University of Washington, Seattle. For more on Long and his work, click here.
