Meet Kayla!

Major:  Pre-Major

Kayla joined Global Honors in Autumn 2020 and plans to major in Psychology.

"I expect the Global Honors Program to not just enhance my degree, but also inspire me by educating me about the world. I also hope to make great friends within the community, and I believe that this program will push me to do my best in all my classes constantly to keep my GPA high."

Kayla volunteers at a local homeless shelter for women and children and previously was part of a choir and worked for a nonprofit organization called Tacoma Youth Chorus, where she helped teach children how to read and sing music.
