IIGE Research Paper/Project Award 

AUTUMN QUARTER (September 30-October 11)

Winter Quarter (January 6-22, 2025)

Spring Quarter (April 7-23, 2025)
  • AUTUMN:  Read/Assess 3 final papers from TGH 302: Global Imaginations, and up to 6 final projects from TGID 320: Innovation & Design Studio and TGID 420:  Reflexive Design Portfolio  Select best project paper/project. $500 award.
  • WINTER:  Read/Assess 6 final papers from TGH 301:  Global Interactions and TGH 303:  Global Challenges and select best paper.  $500 award.
  • SPRING:  Read/Assess 6 final papers from TGH 301:  Global Interactions and TGH 302:  Global Imaginations and 3 final projects from TGID 320:  Innovation & Design Studio and select best paper/project.  $500 award.

Need at least 2 members

William W. Philip Endowed Scholarship 

Autumn Quarter (September 16-24)

Winter Quarter (Nov 22-Dec 5)

Spring Quarter (Feb. 21– March 5, 2025)   

Read/Assess applications (generally only 2 or 3) and select award winner(s).  $1000 award

Applicants are Global Honors students from the School of Engineering & Technology and Milgard School of Business.

Need at least 2 members

Bamford Fellowship in Global Engagement

March 31-April 25, 2025

Read/Assess BFGE proposals.  Includes one Committee meeting to discuss applications, possibly feedback for proposals, make decisions.

BFGE supports research teams - 2 Global Honors students, 1 faculty advisor - to embark on a year-long project that will enhance both faculty and student research agendas.  Up to $2000 per student, $1000 for faculty advisor

IIGE Study Abroad Awards

Winter Quarter Finals Week (March 17-21):  30-minute Committee planning meeting

March 21-April 7: Review committee reads/scores applications

Spring Quarter Week 2 (April 7-11): 60 to 90-minute committee review meeting/determine top applicants

Read and score applications and make selections.  

$1000 Award.  10-15 awards to be funded this year.

Global Engagement Conference Abstract Review

April 7-11, 2024

Review abstract submissions and decide on acceptances and declines.

Need at least 2 members
