Meet William!

Major:  Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences (IAS)

Minor:  Global Engagement

William joined Global Honors in Autumn 2020 and is majoring in Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences (IAS).

"I am hesitant to call it an 'expectation,' but I am certain that there is a huge opportunity to be a part of something bigger than myself that will in return enrich my academic experience here at UWT. The process of pursuing my own interests, learning about the interests of others, and being guided by such a amazing faculty is just one reason that I know Global Honors will be very enriching. I see this as an amazing opportunity to grow, obtain more tools, and to put the experience that I will have into practice for the betterment of not only my future, but the future of others as well."

William is Council Chairman for NAMI UWT (National Alliance on Mental Illness), Secretary of the SET Club (The School of Engineering and Technology Entrepreneurs Club), President of the UWT Outdoorsmen Club, and a participant in the Centro Latino Cohort.
