Launch Attend Summer Institute in Federal Way, WA on 8/2/2023.
Communicator

Grant Coordinator, Dr. Karlyn Davis-Welton, will be emailing you information regarding roles and responsibilities for the Project TELL-EQUITY Grant as well as updates, reminders, surveys, etc. You will need to send out the information to the individuals who are participating in the grant at your school.

Karlyn will contact you after school starts up to set up a Zoom Meeting to address questions as well as to provide the grant’s webpage link.

Supporter

Support teachers with their lesson plans and reflections as needed.

Assist parents and ML students with projects.

Help parents and ML students with perception surveys.
Collector Create a shared drive to store the following items.

  • Two completed lesson plans with accompanying reflections (Teachers)
  • WIDA Screener data (kindergarten only)
  • WIDA ACCESS data (1st - 5th/6th grade) from February 2023 of MLs in the teachers' classrooms.
  • Fall & Winter Data of MLs in the teachers' classrooms (i-Ready Reading or other district data, such as DIBELS 8 or STAR)
  • Parent Projects
  • Perception Surveys for Parents and Students

Note:

All of these items will be shared with Karlyn (e.g., One Drive, OneNote).

Excel spreadsheets for the data collection and tracking of turned in materials will be provided for you.
