UWT YMCA
Our neighbors at the UW Tacoma YMCA shared a brief survey with the Staff Association Executive Board and we are delighted to continue to build vitality in our community by supporting our campus partners. We are passing this survey on to Staff to gather feedback and thoughts regarding UWT YMCA membership.
2025-2026 Staff Association Executive Board Nominations and Election
It's time for Staff Association nominations! Revisions have been made to the election process by moving it to the spring. The newly elected board members will begin their terms on July 1, 2025, the beginning of the fiscal year. Nominations are now open for the following positions:
- Chair (One-Year Term)
- Vice-Chair (One Year Term) The Vice-Chair assumes the Chair role after 1 year if they are willing
- Treasurer (One-Year Term)
- Secretary (One-Year Term)
- At-large Classified Staff Representative (One-Year Term)
- At-large Professional Staff Representative (One-Year Term)
Nominations will be open until EOD on April 25, 2025. For more information on each of these positions, including responsibilities, term length, and expected commitment, please visit our website.

2025 Staff Appreciation Spring Lunch
Save the date to grab some lunch! UWT Staff Association is hosting its Spring Staff Appreciation lunch on Monday, May 5, 2025 from 11:30AM-1PM in William Philip Hall.
Food will include dairy-free, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options. See you there!
2025 Staff Summer Camp
Are you ready for summer? Celebrate the end of the academic year at the first ever UWT Staff Summer Camp on Thursday, July 10, 2025 in William Philip Hall.
We are bringing back the tie dye station, playing cornhole, camp songs, and so much more! Put it on your calendar and get ready for camp!
