RISE Scholar Cohort
The RISE (Race, Identity, and Social Engagement) Scholars program is a year-long learning experience designed for first-year students from historically marginalized and/or underserved communities . You get to be a part of a cohort of 10 - 15 other students who will be together over the course of your first year in college.
Our cohort program provides an opportunity for students to learn about race and other social identities as well as to build community and socially engage. This cohort experience is designed to identify and overcome unforeseen barriers in adjusting to college and social life. You will be exploring identities of self, building your community networks and gaining personal wellness skills.
