The new Center for Urban Waters building on the Thea Foss Waterway will house two research initiatives, the Puget Sound Institute and the Storm Water Technical Resource Center.
Serving as a bridge between the scientific community and agencies charged with restoring and protecting Puget Sound, the Institute is a collaboration of the Puget Sound Partnership, the UW College of the Environment and the UW Tacoma Center for Urban Waters.
One hundred years of nursing history in Washington will be marked by a traveling history exhibit curated in part by UW Tacoma students, faculty and graduates.
