Mindful Facilitation Certification Program

Building beloved communities requires that individuals engage with one another across difference. Designed particularly for supervisors, this program enhances their capacities to facilitate courageous and brave conversations in socio-culturally diverse contexts.
This Program Supports Participants to:
- Reflect on how their own intersectional identities and life experiences shape how they show up in academic, professional and community across cultural context.
- Practice the art of listening.
- Understand the intent and impact inherent in all communications.
- Express empathy.
- Engage in authentic relationship-building.
- Develop skills to engage individuals and groups in authentic relationship-building.
- Practice mindful inquiry to build bridges across conversation parties.
- Practice culturally sensitive facilitator responses.
- Engage diverse audiences in constructive conversations across cultural differences.
- Support diverse audiences in practicing nonviolent communication.
